I am in urgent need of a safe and affordable place to live
Due to COVID-19, I had to immediately leave my living situation. I had been staying with my 90-year-old parents but it became critical to prioritize their health in March as I was driving for LYFT and coming into contact with other people. I was able to move to a temporary living situation that ended in May. Unfortunately, I have exhausted all of my housing options and resources.
As an older adult, I am in the high risk category for COVID-19 and am therefore unable to continue driving due to the virus. I have filed for benefits but still have not received anything.
I will use the donations for a security deposit and first/last month rent.
Any support or resources you could provide would be sincerely appreciated. Your support would mean I wouldn’t have to live out of my car. I don’t often ask for help and I am extremely grateful as your generosity could save my life.
