Help Dale Hewitt Breathe Easier

Donation protected
In 2012, our son, Dale Hewitt, who is 57 years old, was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), which causes breathing difficulties and dangerously low blood oxygen levels. Dale has been hospitalized numerous times over the last year and was recently determined to be in the final stage of the disease. He is now dependent on oxygen full-time, and he will be evaluated for a lung transplant at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in March. As you can imagine, his treatment has placed a heavy financial burden on Dale and his family.

Please consider helping Dale breathe easier during this difficult time. Your donation will help ease the financial burden of medical expenses, including medication, hospital stays, doctor bills, and especially transportation and housing costs if Dale qualifies for and receives a lung transplant.

Dale's wish for his health is to be able to share his love of hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and to continue cheer on the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.

Thank you for your support,
Tom and Polly Hewitt
