Caden Strong ~ Fighting Cancer

Donation protected
Dear family and friends,

Caden Michael Bowyer (my nephew), a 14 year old honor roll student at Whitehall High School, recently found out that he has cancer. On August 5th, 2022 through a routine physical, a cancerous tumor was found. The tumor was removed on August 8th. On August 12th, we received the very sad news that the cancer spread into his lymph nodes. Caden's chemotherapy treatments will begin on August 23rd, at Helen Devos Children's Hospital.

Caden, lives in Lakewood Club, Twin Lake with his mother CJ Kelsch, Shane Rebedew (CJ's fiance), and his younger brother Levi. Since this journey began, Caden has been overwhelmed with the love and support from his family, friends and classmates. Luckily, he has been able to maintain his normal routines so far, but there will undoubtedly be challenges for him in the coming months ahead.

Unfortunately, Caden's love for sports will be put on hold for a little while until he is well and cancer free. He is an avid athlete and excels playing football, basketball, wrestling and track. Everyone is drawn to this precious, sweet giant of a kid, so full of fun and energy. He has this infectious personality and chemistry with everyone he meets. I don't think anyone ever leaves his presence not being charmed in some way.

Most importantly, Caden knows Jesus as his Savior and attends his church regularly. He gave his heart to Jesus and was baptized on September 8th, 2019. He claims the promise "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13.

Please consider donating to help Caden and his family with the large expenses during this sad, unexpected journey. Your donations will help minimize any potential impact on financial difficulties and will ensure that Caden will be provided with the best possible medical care.

Last, your continued thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated for Caden, his family, and his medical team at Devos. We are praying that his chemotherapy treaments will be successful and that Caden will be able to enjoy a full healthy, happy, normal life and a bright future.

Thank you for your love, prayers and support,

The family of Caden Bowyer
