Cadence's Scoliosis Surgery

Hi everyone! 

My daughter, Cadence, as severe scoliosis and is having surgery June 24, in Memphis, TN. I am her sole provider, financial & physical,etc. and I will need to take off of work for 3-4 weeks to care for her until she can start to travel with me to work. 

I’ve tried to raise money various ways to help cover our expenses and medical bills, but none have really been successful. I hate to do a go fund me, because I have an issue with asking for help, but I know I can’t do it alone. I work two jobs and I still need help. The VA (veteran affairs) has continued to dodge my requests for healthcare for myself & my family, so Cadence is signed up under state insurance. I am totally unsure of what all the state will cover, but any extra we have from these funds will go directly to her medical bills. I am still paying medical bills from when my son, Bodhi, almost passed away in 2018, and while I know it’s not anyone else’s problem but mine, because she is mine, I am humbly asking for help so I can be with my baby girl during her recovery. Shes 11 years old, and she has hypoglycemia as well, so I just could not live with myself to leave her alone. I know parents have to do it sometimes but, I’d rather lose my pride than her be uncomfortable. I realize I have waited late in the game to fund raise for her, but I have been trying to do it alone, and I simply…. Can’t. 

We appreciate any donation, even the smallest, because I know it comes from the heart. I hope to be able to find a way to give back to my community for all the help we’ve received for my kids during these very emotional and difficult times. I truly truly thank you!!
