CADS Fundraiser for Roof repairs 2024

Unfortunately our ageing theatre badly needs a new roof! We initially covered the cost of temporary works but have since suffered further water ingress. We're now faced with roof repairs costing around £30,000!

The good news is we've secured a £10,000 National Lottery grant and with your help we've raised additional funds. However, there's still a way to go.

We are of course in the process of urgently seeking local grants but will need to raise a substantial figure ourselves. We appreciate these are difficult times for so many but any donation, no matter how small, will help us.

For those not familiar with CADS and our home the Market Theatre in Cowbridge, we normally stage 3 productions a year and share our home with "Stage Door 1" Youth theatre group. We also regularly host productions staged by visiting comedy and drama groups, professional groups staging plays (from R&D to the finished production) and more. We are a vital venue for arts in the area.
