Cafe 43 could use your assistance

Cafe 43 is going to close without your help.

Recently, they have needed to repair or replace aging kitchen equipment, including a commercial dishwasher, espresso machine, an oven, the walk-in cooler, a flat-top grill, plus a couple of additional coolers in the coffee bar and kitchen. The breakdown of necessary equipment has added to the challenges of running a small-town cafe. Rising food and labor costs coupled with a notably slower pace over the last several weeks haven’t helped.

Rather than closing, Molly Huie has reached out for help and we are grateful for that.

Molly and her team are making changes at Cafe 43 to increase revenue, but will face continuous difficulties if aging equipment fails and maintenance and repair vendors are unable to be compensated.

We have launched this fundraiser to give Molly the boost she needs to move forward ad remain open. This will allow her to maintain staff and keep Cafe 43 open.

Which has an expanded selection of beer, wine, cheese

-attend upcoming events that are in the works

We know you are bombarded with donation requests this time of year, but this beloved Cafe will close without additional funds.

Molly and her team have remained open for us through difficult times, like the pandemic and the 2023 street closure. They persevered and gave us all a warm and welcoming place to gather. Now, it’s time to give back to them.
