Cafe Beignet RVA: Restaurant and Bakery

Hello Everyone!!!

 

 

To those who I haven’t met yet. My name is Brittany Williams and I’m the founder and chef of Cafe Beignet RVA. I’ve been baking and cooking since I was a little girl and after culinary school I knew I wanted to one day own a restaurant/bakery. The food trailer life has been so much fun and it has allowed me to grow and reach many of my customers. Unfortunately it’s such a tiny space that I’m limited to what I can serve and closures due to inclement weather have been an inconvenience at times.

 

 

I’m so excited to announce that we are finally transitioning to our first brick and mortar location in Shockoe Bottom!!! We’re beyond excited for this next chapter and none of this would have been possible without your support. I took a leap of faith and started this business in the middle of a pandemic and I’m extremely humbled by the support from this community. You guys have waited in long lines and extremely cold weather for my beignets and that means the world to me. With our new space we’ll be able to serve you quickly and I’ll also be offering Creole/Cajun cuisine along with our beignets and lattes.

 

 

 

That being said, we are a very small operation that’s supported financially 100% by myself. We have been deeply humbled by your loyal support of Cafe Beignet, and now we are asking for your continued generosity in helping us buy equipment and get our new space ready for you. We are making the move in a couple of months and will need to assemble a full kitchen to support all of your beignet needs by the Spring. I have been working hard to financially prepare for this move, but your support would allow us to transition faster and more efficiently. I will keep you all updated every step of the way!

 

 

 

To make this move, we are reaching for $20,000. This will help us begin our lease, purchase equipment and keep us afloat during the transition. It's our goal to make this process as efficient and expedient as possible, so that we can quickly get back to what we love doing.

 

 

 

We can’t wait to make this space cozy and inviting and what I hope to be a neighborhood gem for years to come. As we transition into the brick and mortar our mission will remain the same. Amazing customer service and food will always be our top priority! Love you all dearly and cannot wait to have you in our new space.
