Cafe Christmas Break-in Relief
Donation protected
At 4:10 PM on Christmas Day, our family owned cafe, Ninetails Coffee Bar, located in the heart of Koreatown, was broken into and robbed.
We are a small independent family-owned business and we have been struggling to stay afloat during these difficult times. Like many other small businesses, we’re barely survivng, let alone making a living.
We appreciate being part of the small-knit Koreatown community and we are thankful for our valued customers and community members that help keep our doors open.
December 27th is our one year anniversary. One year ago, our family bundled our savings together to turn our business idea into a reality. We opened only a few months before covid and then the lockdown began. It has been difficult to keep up with bills and our lease, but we’ve continued to push through.
With that being said, this break-in/robbery has not happened at a worse time possible and is yet another blow to a near-end family owned business and the hard working staff.
Our holiday earnings were stolen, our business laptop and our lock system was compromised which has incurred us thousands of dollars in losses. We feel disheartened and frustrated to say this robbery has tipped us over the edge and permanent closure is a realistic outcome. We need your help please.
We are asking for help from the community to create awareness to help find the robber by sharing this and we are also asking for a small donation via GoFundMe to install a new lock and to help us continue to run our daily operations. Any donation is greatly appreciated, as we understand many are suffering during these difficult times.
We thank you for any support, and hope no one has to go through this as we did.
Thank you.
