Help Café Diem Get a Coffee Bike

Greetings everyone! My name is Emmett Davenport and I am the owner of Davenport's Café Diem, located in downtown Pittsboro, NC. We have been going strong for almost eight years and we have hit a snag... due to circumstances out of our control, we have to vacate our current location at the end of 2017.

We do have a new space picked out but, the buildout is slow going, which means, we are about to be completely caféless for an indeterminate amount of time, which, makes both my customers and staff folks sad. 

BUT! I have a possible solution... an espresso truck .
The initial cost ($65,000) is quite a bit more than the buildout, as it comes fully equipped with everything needed to start brewing coffee, right away. It would allow us to continue providing great coffee to our customers while we wait for our new home. In addition, an espresso truck would allow us to cater events while still remaining open in a brick and mortar location, once it is complete.
