Caitlin Robinson Medical Fund

On May 21  2018, Caitlin was on her way home from an out of town trip and she was in a car accident. Her car flipped 5 times and she was thrown through the windshield 20 yards from the car. She was unconscious and was air-lifted to a hospital.


She had multiple surgeries to save her life, where she suffered a shattered pelvis, collapsed lung, 2 broken vertebrae in her back, and a fractured femur. 


Her parents and friends rushed to see her. She was in the hospital for 12 days and was finally transfered to her home in Chatsworth , Ca , where Caitlin is recovering with the help of home health nurses and physical therapy.


She has an External Fixation Device (traction) and is in a wheelchair for at least the next 3-4 months. Currently, Caitlin is unable to walk or even move her legs. 

Caitlin will have a very tough, painful and expensive rehab that will last at least 6 months, to be able to walk again.  With prayers and hard work, Caitlin's recovery time estimate is a year.



Caitlin is a student working hard to achieve her dreams in the medical field. She must now put her career on hold so she can focus and overcome these severe injuries.

Caitlin's energy and passion for life and adventure have inspired us and it is clear that so many people want to help in any way, shape, or form; to that end, a GoFundMe has been established.  GoFundMe is safe and effective way to donate to a cause and make a significant, positive impact on an individual in a challenging situation.

The initial goal is $15,000, and, as we have a clearer picture of the road ahead, this will likely increase. The funds we raise will help Caitlin and her parents with costs such as medical expenses not covered by insurance, modifications to their home to accommodate Caitlin's new physical requirements, and travel to/from the rehabilitation facilities.
