Caitlin Rogers

Less than a month ago Caitlin Rogers (26 years old) went to the doctor after having trouble breathing at the gym. After a night of coughing up blood and troubled breathing, she decided to go to the doctor in hopes of receiving a simple explanation. After a little over a week of testing, it was revealed that she had stage 1 carcinoid cancer in one of her lungs. Flash forward 2 weeks later and it was determined the the tumor had compromised her entire left lung. It would need to be removed. This week Caitlin had her whole left lung removed, leading to a long road of recovery ahead. Caitlin is one of the most caring, loving, selfless individuals that I have ever met. She is truly one of a kind. While we are so thankful that the surgery will lead to a cancer-free future for her, she will still be left with a lot of expenses moving forward. This has certainly taken a toll on her and her family, physically and emotionally. I urge you to please give what you can in order to help her and her family out during this very difficult time.
