Caleb Leon Hansen

Hi, my name is Avery, my brother Evan and I are raising funds to help with our father's final expenses. As many of you know, our father Caleb passed away unexpectedly just after the New Year. This has come as a terrible shock to our entire family. Caleb was on his way to Texas for his sister's recent passing, which happened only three weeks prior, when I received the heartbreaking news... This is an extremely difficult time for my brother and I as we are still trying to wrap our heads around the whole situation. With the passing of both Angie and Caleb in a month's time, our entire family is devastated.

As many of you know, Caleb was a hardworking, hilarious, raunchy, take no crap kind of guy. He loved spending time with my brother and I and the rest of his ridiculously large family. He was a family man who loved nothing more than to be around those he loved and was always down for a good time no matter what. We would joke around about everything and laughed so hard, it often ending in one of us crying. And if it wasn't obvious, he really liked the Broncos! (like really really liked the Broncos)

Our father proudly served in the U.S. Navy for five years and took great pride and joy in serving his country. He would tell me stories about the 40+ countries he visited aboard Nuclear Guided Cruisers, from Japan to Australia to Bahrain and Singapore. He always had a crazy story about each one, and always had a smile on his face while talking about all these great experiences in his life. After he left the Navy to grow his family, he dedicated the rest of his career to the USPS, where he spent the next 25 years, which he was also very proud of. Many people knew Caleb in his professional career, but his true passion in life was being an amazing father to Evan and I.

We are raising funds to help with all of the expenses that come with losing a family member. Anything helps, and we can not express how grateful we are for all of the support through this unimaginable time. I would like to thank every single one of you for your kindness. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
