On Tuesday March 9 our sweet boy Caleb suffered unimaginable injuries. We would like to thank all those who came to his aid and stayed by him, to the Gilbert firefighters who got there as quickly as they did, and the doctors and nurses at the Arizona Burn Center who are working tirelessly to care for our Caleb. While each day begins with uncertainty, we find hope in the small things.
Caleb’s road to recovery will be a very long and difficult one and will likely have many bad days. While we cannot know today what tomorrow will bring, we are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and prayers for our Caleb. Many have asked how to help. This gofundme account is one way to help and prepare for the many eventualities that may come along the way that we simply cannot even imagine at this point.
More than anything, we ask for your prayers for Caleb and for his parents and siblings and all of those who love him. While we are all in this together united as a family in support of our boy, Caleb is the one who will have to do all the work and we pray that he finds the strength within him.
Please note that my name appears as beneficiary on behalf of the family. All donations are being deposited directly into Caleb's account and will go toward Caleb's medical equipment and all the necessary modifications to his home setting in preparation for his return.
