Caleb Nathaniel Tier, Gone Home to his Father
Donation protected
Caleb Nathaniel Tier has lived a fulfilled life full of love, fun, laughter, and adventure. On Saturday October 21 while on one of his many adventures with friends, he had a very horrific and traumatic motor vehicle accident and sustained irreversible injuries to his brain and heart. Caleb was a big strong man and his body survived in tact, all in one piece, but his precious, soft, loving heart, could no longer hold on. He's been in the hospital Gainesville UF Health Shands receiving the absolute best medical care there is to offer. The trauma team of doctors and nurse have been working around the clock to try and give him every chance or survival, however Caleb's heart and brain were unable to hang on. All who knew Caleb knew he was such a wild spirt and his earthly body could just not contain that spirit any longer. He's about to embark on the great journey of his life, met witha large bear hug from his dad on the other side. We will all mourn the loss of our dear friend and loved one, but no one will mourn more than his mother Betsy and his sister Faith. My name is Amanda Massman. I have known Caleb since he was about 6 years old, his father was like a big brother to me and Caleb and Faith like a niece and nephew. Family is more than a blood line, it's who you choose to create your family with and Caleb was part of my family. I loved him dearly. No one plans to burry their 23 yo 100% healthy and happy child. Caleb's passing is devastating and unexpected. I am asking for your help with funds for his funeral and memorial arrangements and anything else the family may need at this time. Also asking for prayers as we are still in shock and I don't think it's quite sunk in just yet that Caleb's not coming home from his camping trip. Anything little bit helps. All prayers help. Caleb you will be missed but your spirit will alway be with us and your memories will live on forever in our hearts
