Caleb Michael Collins Scholarship

Caleb Michael Collins is a genuine American hero. He died on July 25, 2015 at the tender age of 22 in Honolulu, Hawaii when he risked his life to save a friend from drowning. Caleb was a very focused young man who had a plan for how his life would unfold.
St. Augustine graduate dies trying to save friend in Hawaii
He served in the U.S. Army at Schofield Barracks and was an excellent and disciplined soldier. Caleb was a gifted tattoo artist and was known in Honolulu as the go to guy for military personnel interested in getting inked up. He was also a promoter, teaming up with close friends in party promotions under the name of CAM ENT.
Caleb was a tremendously positive young man, always with a word of encouragement for his friends. In his final moments of life, without hesitation, he plunged into the raging sea in an attempt to help a friend in need. His actions displayed amazing courage and the traits of St. Augustine, patron saint of his beloved St. Augustine High School; selfless service of your fellow man.
As the loving family of this phenomenal young man, although we're shattered by grief, we couldn't be more proud of Caleb and all that he stood for. In his honor we've created the Caleb Michael Collins Scholarship at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans. We're attempting to raise the 8,200.00 yearly tuition cost so that a deserving young man can have the same formative opportunities that Caleb had.
Any contribution large or small towards this goal would be greatly appreciated and used to directly fund this scholarship. Thank you for your help and may God bless you.
