Caleb’s Blanket Drive

Hey Friends! Caleb is doing a blanket fundraiser for Primary Children's Hospital. He decided to do this after he did a small project during the summer when trying to get onto the 6th grade student council. Each kid was required to do 20 hours of Service. He decided to make blankets for Primary Children’s. In 20 hours he was able to finish 8 blankets.

The day we delivered them we had a great conversation with the care coordinator who explained that each kid that stays at the Hospital is given a blanket. He told her about his older brother that received one after spending a week in the hospital…so the project hits close to home for us.

We continued to talk with the care coordinator as she explained that because of COVID precautions that they had No (zero, none, nada) blankets and that she had a hard job to go choose 8 kids to give our blankets to.

This really made Caleb sad and immediately he told her he would do more. She told us that the most donated was 500 and so naturally Caleb volunteered to donate 501.

Caleb has done some local fundraising by cleaning garbage cans, pulling weeds, taking out garbages, and making brownies. He is so close but still have a little bit to go before he meets his goal. This is where we need your help… Please consider donating…everything helps.
