Cali’s Brazil Mission Trip

Hi friends!

I am so excited to announce I have an opportunity to travel to São Paulo, Brazil for my first-ever missions trip during spring break!! It has been a dream of mine to travel to a different country and spend a week serving the people there, the way I have learned Jesus teaches us.

São Paulo is the seventh largest city in the world with over 18 million people. However, over half of them live in extreme poverty. The reality is many more live below any normal life conditions we are blessed to experience here in America.

I will be traveling with my church, Genesis Church Orlando! We will be partnering with a local church to provide kids programs, distribute food and clothing, reach teens through sports, and work in the local favelas (slums) helping bring aid to those living in the hardest conditions.

I am humbled to be a part of such an impacting trip and am entering the experience with a posture of learning, gratitude, and excitement for how I can help and learn from others.

This is where and how you can help! Being a a student, I am still in need of financial help. The total cost for the trip is $1450. The trip cost includes airfare, food, lodging, transportation and supplies while we are there. I have already raised some of the funds, but still am in need of finances to help make this trip a reality. I am asking as many people as possible to pray about possibly donating to help make this trip possible. Anything can help in a big way! Funds are due quickly and I am trusting God to provide for this incredible experience.
