Calistoga Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam Trip & Program

Hello, we are the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam National Award winning students from the L-MIT Inventing SMART Solutions program at Calistoga Junior-Senior High School. We are partnering with the Calistoga Fire Department

and Vineyard Workers in the valley to invent devices to aid in their respective lines of work. The students involved in the program will be taking a field trip to the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts to present our inventions to MIT at a festival called EurekaFest. Only 10 schools in the Country are awarded L-MIT InvenTeam titles and chosen to participate in this field trip yearly. This field trip will have 32 students attending and will cost approximately $100,000. We additionally need to raise money for our inventions and to continue this L-MIT Invention Education program at our school. On behalf of the class, we are requesting that generous donors, such as yourself, consider donating to our cause, as we attempt to fundraise this money for the educational enrichment of many up-and-coming inventors and engineers. The field trip is in June of 2024, and we are hoping our request for funds from our generous compatriots may be met. Thank You!
