Urgent evacuation of Rahaf’s family from Gaza
Donation protected
Hello & Salam,
I have never collected donations or asked for financial help for myself or my family before. I never wanted to do, but the ongoing genocide in Gaza leaves me no choice.
I have been living in Berlin for several years, born and raised in Gaza, and now I see live in the media a genocide in Gaza, through which my family is fighting for survival.
For years, Gaza has resembled an open-air prison, fighting for survival despite the blockade and the recurring Israeli attacks, despite fences, walls and economic blockade, Gaza has rebuilt schools, kindergartens, universities, and homes after every Israeli attack. Despite everything, Gaza has been a place of laughing children, motivated students, families building their lives, beautiful beaches, and never-ending hope and strength.
And now , Gaza is experiencing genocide in front of the eyes of the world and my sisters daughter Rahaf asks me for help.
Due to the chronic neurological disease my sister, Rahafs mother has, they are the most vulnerable part of my family in Gaza. Rahaf is a 21-year-old pharmacy student living in Gaza. She's living with her family:
her parents, one brother, and three sisters, one of them with her husband, a two-year-old child.
Rahaf and her family were forced to leave their home without taking their belongings or memories while trying to find at safe place. They have been displaced several times and it had been hard to find a place where her mother can get the more than needed rest since she suffers from a chronic neurological disease, multiple sclerosis (MS).
She needs special care and continuous therapy, along with providing the appropriate environment and food. Now, there is no space for them anymore. Nowhere. Rahafs mother suffers from constant muscle pain -during the daily bombing- and the whole family feels helpless. Rahaf wishs you to help her get out of Gaza and rebuild her life and future.
She lost her dream of graduating because her university was destroyed and two of her sisters lost their jobs and so their income the family desperately needed. I want to share some words from Rahaf:
"No one can imagine how much our life destroyed we are homeless now I feel very helpless and afraid. Seeing my mother and my family suffering aches my heart so badly. I want nothing but a peaceful, stable life with my family. We are gradually dying day after day and there is no hope anymore but to get out of Gaza, so I'm asking for your support- it gives us the chance to survive”.
All the funds raised through this campaign will be used to pay for the fees required to cross the border into Egypt (6000$ per person), where Rahaf and her family hope to find safety and stability.

- There is no time left. We are incredibly grateful for any donations that can help us achieve our goal of providing Rahaf and her family with the support they desperately need.
