Call to the rugby and wider community for support.

Here at Hollybush RFC we have just suffered a devastating loss with one of our family dying suddenly during a training session on the pitch. Lee was the life and soul of the club and a massive character who always made the lads laugh, proclaiming himself as the "people’s captain", he had some great banter and always popped a funny one liner in, often inappropriately funny. Not only was he a presence on the pitch he was a great friend he was a loving father and partner. He is hugely missed!

As hard as this is for us, Lee leaves behind his partner, two young daughters and his step son. Lee's children have already faced so much hardship resulting in Lee taking full time care of them with the support of his partner Natasha, she now has 3 young children to care for that have already been through too much and are now mourning the loss of their dad, whilst dealing with this she also has to mourn the loss of the partner. As a club we are all there for the family but would like to raise as much money as we can so at least for the short term they have not got to worry about finances.

The funds will be used to clear as much debt as we can, help towards new school uniforms and hopefully a family holiday. This family has been through so much. We are extremely grateful for any support that we can offer them to try and make this process a little less soul destroying. Natasha will have full access to the funds, she is ex RAF and a very strong, responsible person who will put the welfare of the children first. Lee’s daughters will be very much loved.
