Callahan Family Fertility Journey

Starting a family is something often taken for granted. Alex and Megan have been looking forward to starting and growing a family for many years. They started dating in high school, and have grown up and more in love every day since. Almost 3 years ago they were over the moon to find out that they would be parents, and elated to find out that they would welcome a little princess to the world. In July of 2020, their hearts were shattered and lives changed forever when a birth injury took the life of sweet Everly. A tragedy that could have broken them, brought them even closer together, and has helped them to grow in their marriage and faith.

Megan and Alex have been looking forward to once again growing their family. They have been trying for quite some time, and have unfortunately been unsuccessful at conceiving. Megan and Alex have both seen multiple physicians and they have found no medical reasoning to prevent them from conceiving. They have tried medications, procedures, and consulted with several fertility doctors. They have exhausted all means that insurance will cover, and many that insurance does not. The only possible option left at this time is to attempt InVitro Fertilization. This is not covered by insurance and is a completely out of pocket expense. In order to begin treatment payment must be made up front, and the total is near 15,000. This is for medications, egg harvesting, transfers, scans, appointments etc. With Megans begrudging consent I am reaching out to ask for assistance to help make their dream come true.
