Callen Little Memorial/Celebration

Donation protected

My very sweet, very loved and talented nephew Callen Little passed away at only 9 years old today, June  13, 2015.

The loss of a child is a difficult experience to work through. It is a case of death in the wrong order. Most of us expect to die before a child—even if we’d rather not think about death at all.
Everyone lives and deals with sorrow in different ways. Some find they have a multitude of grief emotions to work with. This is especially true for the loss of a child. You are also grieving a lifetime of dreams and hopes for the child and man that they are to become.
There is nothing more heartbreaking than the death of a child. It is unfair that our Callen was taken away from us after only nine short years but, here we are today with great sadness that we say goodbye to our LITTLE MAN.
There is no easy way for me (us) to say goodbye. We can’t dwell on the sadness or keeping asking the question “why?” We will never find a reason why such a smart, cheerful and beautiful child was taken from our lives at an age of only 9. Instead, we should focus on how happy he made us when he was in our lives and the impact he had on all of us. We will miss Callen forever and will always remember his smiles, dimples and for the young man he was.
I ask that all of us remember Callen but also think of the pain my sister and Michael are in. I am writing this and asking that no one can say, change or do anything to assist them in the pain that they have to work through but ask for your assistance. I do not know the true cost of a funeral nor do I want to. I would like to provide my sister the opportunity to do whatever she feels that she needs to do to say good bye to her son. I ask for any donations to allow them the opportunity to celebrate the life of my nephew.
I know that I was blessed to have been graced by their son’s big heart and his inviting personality. I sit and write this with very limited comprehension as this still does not feel real, you always think it happens to someone else.
Today was a tragic accident that the Little family has to cope with. Today started out as a normal day in the little house hold with hopes of hunting and being with family. No one understands what happened in the fields on the Waggoner-Sauder Ranch and no one can change the events that took place today. I ask that in support of Callen, Michael, Tasha and Blayne Little that you provide a donations that makes you feel comfortable in supporting them.
