Calli Schmidt - Emergency Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Allie, and I'm fundraising for my cousin Calli Schmidt. On the night of Monday, August 1, Calli was driving home when she was in a tragic car accident. When they arrived at the scene, emergency responders had to use the Jaws of Life to remove Calli from her car. Calli was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors did what they could to stabilize her, but she was ultimately flown by Flight For Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Calli has already had surgeries on her internal organs, diaphragm, and nose, is in a coma, and is on a ventilator to breathe. Doctors don't yet know the full extent of Calli's brain injuries. Calli might need rehabilitation services, physical therapy, cognitive/mental services, or more. We will know more once the swelling in her brain has gone down and the road to recovery truly begins.

Calli is a beautiful, kind soul who is always there for others. She's always smiling and joking, guaranteed to make you smile and improve your day! She loves fiercely, selflessly, and unconditionally with all her heart. She deserves that same love and care, especially during this time! Unfortunately, the medical costs for Calli's recovery will be astronomical, and I'm hoping that the GoFundMe community can help our family to ease Calli's burden.
