Calli's Summer in Washington D.C.

I am honored to have been selected to intern with the National Student Leadership Forum this summer in Washington, D.C. The National Student Leadership Forum is an organization centered around the type of leader Jesus was and focuses on creating leaders that exemplify the qualities that His leadership possessed. By studying the teachings and workings of Jesus, National Student Leadership’s goal is to nurture leaders who understand the value of reconciling relationships, standing up for truth, loving God, and loving their neighbor as themselves. Learning more and more about what this looks like in my life is something I am thrilled to foster this summer!  Being able to grow and learn to be more like Christ while interning on Capitol Hill is truly a dream come true for me and I could not be more ecstatic to have been given this opportunity!

Tuesday-Thursday, I will be interning at the Heritage Foundation, a  conservative Think Tank on Capitol Hill. Monday and Friday, I will be serving the city and doing service projects in the community.

The money I am raising will be going toward the expenses necessary for living in D.C. as well as my transportation in and out of the city.

I hope to have all of the money raised by May 25th.
