Callum's Leukemia Fighting Fund

My name is Callum Pugh. I am 3 years old. On 29 May, I was diagnosed with a rare form of acute myeloid leukemia. On 1st June I will be heading into the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide for 3 months, starting with chemotherapy twice a day.
Before I got sick, I loved going to the park with my family, fishing with dad and Batman!
My family and I are just starting an incredibly hard journey. I am going to do the best I can to beat this awful disease.
My dad, Luke (28) is an electrician and my mum, Casey (27), works for On the Run. My older sister, Lilah, is 5. We live in Craigmore. My mum, dad and sister are all doing what they can to help me.
While I am in hospital my dad and mum will have to take time off work to support me over at least three months.

I am Luke’s employer and know this lovely family well. Luke and Casey are willing to sell their house to support Callum. Like most people, they have a mortgage and bills to pay and cannot forgo income to support Callum without additional financial help. Selling their house is a last resort but they do not need more issues to deal with - apart from the impact that would have in the middle of what is already an extremely stressful time. They need help from family, friends and the wider community.
The fight that Callum faces no child, especially one so young, should ever have to face, yet so much is going to be asked of him. The journey he takes will be full of dangers but Callum we want you to know that your parents, sister, extended family members, friends, parents’ employers and work mates and the wider community will be by your side.Be brave. Be strong.
In times of such tragedy friends become family and we know a lot of people are doing it tough right now, but cancer knows no time and knows no age.
Anything you can donate will be extremely appreciated. Please spread the word. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
We will be providing regular updates on Callum’s progress on Facebook with Callum Pugh Community group during this very difficult time for him and his family.
