Callum’s fight against cancer

Hi my name is Chloe, a close friend of the foy/Roberts family!

I am raising money to help support the most amazing family who are yet again going through such a heartbreaking time.

For any parents having to go through cancer once is traumatising enough but to go through it a second is just heartbreaking.

Calum’s cancer had come back.

I think you will all agree that supporting this family through an extremely hard and emotional time for the second time is a must.

The family met with his soft tissue oncologist, who gave them the news that the tumor, recently removed from the original part of his neck was malignant. As you can imagine this wasn't the news they wanted or had been expecting.

What we know:

* It's a low grade malignancy.

* We're hoping that all the affected tissue for this has been removed.

* Further radiotherapy and 2nd line chemo for this, isn't available.

* The other tumour at the back of his neck has been removed and is currently being tested. 

* Chemotherapy for the benign tumor in his head will commence soon.

Callum is sue back in hospital for a 3rd operation on Tuesday to administer his chemo lines. 

Callum is being monitored closely and further checks and tests are being but into place before the chemo starts.

The family is hoping to turn their outhouse into a wet room and bedroom for Callum for easy access, Whilst Callum is on his long term chemo. (which up to now is around 84 weeks) Callum’s  family are trying their best to get this sorted for him  so that Callum is comfortable with his own space to recuperate.  

Any money raised will go towards supporting Callum and his family through this tragic time.

Loss of earnings due to Callum being in hospital and the cost of fuel driving back and forth from hospital every week. 

Callum will be missing a lot of school so Sophie and Gaz would like to put some of the funds towards  a private tutor for Callum. 

The cost of living is hard enough on family’s at the moment let alone a family going through such a horrific time. 

I hope you can all join myself in supporting Callum Sophie gaz and family on fighting this horrible disease once again.
