Cal's Skin Surgery

I've known Cal for several years, and in that time, she's been one of the most genuine, caring, and inspiring people and piercers I've gotten to know. She genuinely cares so much about her friends, family, and community that it's unreal. In the time I've known her, she's also been on a fantastic journey of transformation and lost a substantial amount of weight in order to be able to access life-changing medical care safely. As a side effect of this weight loss she's been left with quite a bit of excess skin that can cause discomfort and difficulty while working, and impact her ability to compete in powerlifting- her totally badass hobby.

I'm starting this go fund me to help fund her complete round of surgeries to help remove the excess skin and help Cal feel at home in her body, and be able to do all the the amazing things she loves.

The total cost for skin removal on her arms, stomach and thighs (the most crucial areas) totals 36k CAD and isn’t covered by Canadian health care anymore since it is considered cosmetic although it negatively impacts her quality of life and is quite uncomfortable. This cost doesn’t include time off for the brutal recovery that takes a minimum of 6 weeks off work or the care she will need during recovery either.
