Calumet Hockey State Tournament Trip

The Calumet High School Hockey team has had great success this year, and they are now advancing in the state playoffs.  The journey begins with the state quarterfinal game in Marquette on Wednesday night to play Alpena.  With a victory on Wednesday, the team would continue to Detroit for a run at the State Championship.  We are asking for help to offset the cost of this endeavor.  It is expensive to travel.  Our costs for this five day trip, include bussing, practice ice time, hotels, and meals.  From previous experience, we know that this trip will cost over $15,000.  The need is even greater this year as the MHSAA is not providing any expense reimbursement due to reduced revenue resulting from the pandemic.  Thank you considering our request.
