Indiana Pioneer's Grave Desecration

Donation protected
Patrick Calvert and his wife Sarah Martin had their graves tragically desecrated by a local farmer in Southwest Indiana, along with their son, Robert Calvert.  Please help us restore their graves to Calvert Chapel Cemetery close by their original Calvert farm grave site.  According to authorities, estimated costs will be close to $35,000 to move the graves.

Patrick Calvert moved from Virginia To Southern Indiana in approximately 1810 finally settling in Vanderburgh County.  Patrick was extremely civic minded and helped found the entire area long with the Smith, Endicott, Frazier, and Journey families.  Calvert Chapel Cemetery was named after his son, Judge LeRoy Calvert, where many members of the Calvert Family are now buried.  We would like to move all Patrick, Sarah, children, grandchildren to Calvert Chapel Cemetery, so that their grave site can be maintained and cared for by the family.

We greatly appreciate any contributions made for this effort!
