Hi, my name is Pauline and I am one of Calvin’s nieces. It comes with great sadness and a heavy heart, that I am sharing with you the unexpected passing of an amazing man, husband, father, uncle and friend. Calvin passed away suddenly on August 15th, 2024, leaving behind his wife, Kelly, their 2 children Ashley and David, and “Papa’s boys”, Lucas and Liam. As well as one remaining sister.

Calvin will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. A man who could brighten even the darkest of rooms. He was a hard worker, who was the sole support to his beautiful family as Kelly is unable to work due to medical issues. He loved his family with his entire heart, and they always came first. And anyone who came into his life felt like family because his heart was always so full of love. He was so full of fun and laughter - he was a giant kid at heart. Some of my best memories of childhood, Calvin was there always making us laugh and being there for us.

With Calvin’s passing comes a great deal of sadness. We would like to raise funds to help Calvin’s family with the funeral expenses and ease some of the financial weight for them moving forward. Calvin faced heart problems from an early age, so he was not able to purchase life insurance. Therefore, all costs associated with the funeral are being paid out of pocket.

It’s at times like these, when a family is faced with such immense loss, the community, friends and loved ones coming together to show their support can make all the difference. Any help you may be able to provide at this time is greatly appreciated.
