Calvin's Emergency Medical Bills

Calvin is a little dog with a BIG personality and a love for life. Calvin loves swimming, playing, and exploring and is the happiest little man. He has never met anyone he didn't automatically love. He is 12 years old and recently had some major health scares. Most recently he was under treatment for IMT (Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia), an autoimmune disease where his body attacked his platelets. He was able to overcome this and was enjoying life again. Then the bottom fell out. He got an abscess on his leg and the resulting infection sent him spiraling. Even though he has never been diabetic, his blood sugars are now registering over 500.

He is currently hospitalized with Diabetic Ketoacidosis. This was so unexpected as he just enjoyed his 12th Birthday party on June 22. Calvin is currently receiving treatment at CVETS in Columbia SC. But the cost is very high. Because of my own health problems, I am on SSD and even though I have spent every penny I have, it still isn't enough. Calvin deserves to get treatment. He has so much more life to live.

I need help to be able to help Calvin get back to being the awesome little fella he has always been.
