Masquerade Ball Event 2016
Cricket Alley Ministries is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves "at-risk" women surviving domestic violence in Wichita, Kansas. We deliver apparel and supplies with a 22' fashion truck to local shelters and organizations. In 2015 we served an estimated 100 women combined, at Harbor House, Wichita Women's Initiative Network, Carpenter Place, and the Women's Crisis Center. Our 2016 goal is to serve 500 women and children.
We are hosting our first annual black tie fundraising event for October 20th, 2016. The masquerade ball will be held at Abode Venue located at 1330 E. Douglas, in Wichita, Kansas.
The funds raised from this event will be used in two ways, first, to maintain the fashion truck, with needed repairs, upgrades, fuel, and insurance. The second use for the funds raised will go towards our "Phase Two" part of Cricket Alley Ministries. The vision is a residential facility which provides a nine month education program called "Empower University" This program focuses on preparing young women for independent living. The program will focus on teaching about Bible knowledge, and the love of Jesus Christ, beauty/hygiene classes by Crave Beauty Academy, self-defense classes and Revelation Wellness classes, nutrition/cooking classes, and Dave Ramsey financial budgeting classes. The five areas of the Empower program, we call "Empower University" will provide the necessary tools needed, combined with mentorship, to empower the participants to achieve success at independent living. Empower University will serve young women with life-controlling behaviors and situations, and the age group for the residential program will be for young women ages 18-28. A thorough application process will ensure the right fit for each individual, and 24/7 supervision and support will be provided for each participant. Our goal is to not just provide behavior transformation, but heart transformation.

The night of the event, all ticket holders will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, adult beverages, silent & live auctions, a wine pull, entertainment, & a red carpet photo for you and your guest.
