WBOC: Fire Breaks Out At Church of the Nazarene in Cambridge
On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, the Cambridge Church of the Nazarene sustained heavy damage through a fire. Though several members of the church and the Senior Pastor were readying for the evening service at the time of the fire, no one was injured. Local news sources have estimated the number of responding firefighters to be over 60, who battled the blaze for over two hours.
Personally, I am very relieved that the Senior Pastor was not injured, as he is my father - Rev. Richard Prahl. My parents have served as Pastors at the Cambridge Church of the Nazarene since 2006.
This page has been created to help support the congregation of the Cambridge Church of the Nazarene. Over the coming months, the congregation and church leadership will be faced with the task of rebuilding their home. Though we don't yet know the full scope of their expenses, there will undoubtedly be bills that still must be paid, staff to support, and deductibles to meet to start their process of rebuilding.
The initial request to fund $1,000 will go towards anticipated insurance deductibles.
100% of your donations will go directly to supporting the Cambridge Church of the Nazarene, it's ministry, and the rebuilding of this beautiful building.
You may also support the church directly by sending your donation to:

"For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens" ~ 2 Corinthians 5:1
