Cambridgeshire ScrubHub-making scrubs for the NHS

Help support your NHS staff during this crisis
We are a group of volunteers in Cambridgeshire who are raising money to make scrubs for NHS doctors.
There is currently a shortage in some areas and we are hoping that by setting up our own community garment making hubs we can make a difference little by little for our local doctors and hospitals.
Some NHS staff such as GP's and consultants don’t usually wear scrubs - but this is the safest and easiest way for them to dress during this crisis.
We are a network of local volunteers who are working as quickly as we can to get much-needed clothing to doctors. Please do get in touch if you would like to join our Cambridgeshire hub.
We are working within the strict guidelines of the lockdown and are asking for donations per uniform to cover material costs and delivery.
All our volunteers are giving up their time and expertise for free. Through this fund, after material costs have been deducted, we will be proudly donating to help support the NHS Practitioners Health service. They help care for and support the mental well being of NHS workers, who are doing such an amazing and selfless job of looking after us all during this time.
Let's come together to help the people on the front line who are working 24/7 to keep up all safe.
To find out more about our project and how to set up a Scrub Hub in your local area visit our website: https://scrubhub.org.uk/ and follow our progress on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/scrubhubclub/ #ScrubHub #DressTheNHS
Across the country hundreds of scrubs are now being made to order by experienced and professional volunteers, working safely (and rather magically) within the guidelines of the lockdown. If you are a member of the public and you'd like to sponsor our efforts you can do so here!
