Camden John

Camden John made his entrance into this world via emergency c-section on January 11 at 10:11 a.m., 7 weeks early. He was diagnosed with gestational alloimmune liver disease (GALD) which is a rare neonatal liver disease. After being transferred to four different hospitals, it was determined that he was not a candidate for a liver transplant. Camden fought so hard every day, as did his family and doctors, but on March 2nd his family had to say their goodbyes and send him to heaven to be with his big sister Ella. No one following Camden’s story was expecting this outcome, but we’re trying to take comfort in the fact that he is no longer in pain, no longer stuck in hospital beds with wires and tubes, and that he is home in the arms of Jesus. While this fundraiser was originally set up to help with all the financial burdens of having a baby in the NICU states away from home, we will now be using the funds for memorial services and to pay off all the hefty medical bills left in the wake of this tragedy. This is the kind of living nightmare that no parent or family should ever have to endure. Brittany, DJ, Kayden, and Daxton need all the prayers and well wishes that you can possibly send their way.
