Cameron Addy Memorial Fund to Support Linda & Ella

Donation protected
We are shocked and sad to tragically lose such a kind, hilarious, and talented friend in Cameron Addy. On the evening of Wednesday August 5th Cameron was working out/walking in his neighborhood when he collapsed and died after suffering a heart attack.

Cameron (44) had no known symptoms of heart disease and was happy in his life that included luck in geography with quick access to parents and siblings, a fulfilling career as a chef with challenges and joy, and the love of friends and colleagues.

Cameron leaves behind his wife and best friend, Linda, and 13-year-old daughter, Ella. Those that knew Cameron know that he loved to travel with them, cook for them, and experience life with them (laughing and singing along the way).

Cameron had just started a new job after being laid off due to Covid-19.  He was without life insurance.

We have created 3 milestones to provide support for Linda & Ella:
1) 5,000.00 to immediately support with memorial costs;
2) 35,000.00 to provide assistance in adjusting to the loss of Cameron’s income;
3) 50,000.00 to go towards Ella’s college tuition.

Additionally, a percentage of funds will be donated to the American Heart Association in Cameron’s name.

The third milestone is an amazing way to honor Cameron. He and Ella loved to cook together and had endless inside jokes and improv skits between them. They shared a mutual love for the Trailblazers, music, learning, and all things creative.

If you are able to give generously, thank you. If you are able to give only a few dollars, thank you. If you are not able to give, thank you for sharing this link or lifting them up however you can as they adjust to this abrupt and unexpected loss.

We lost a beloved son, brother, nephew, husband, father, uncle, and friend too soon and are thankful for your support in honoring and remembering Cameron. We are touched by the comments of those who knew him as we did and describe him as gentle, caring, genuine, the funniest, inclusive, positive, curious, helping, fun, the sweetest, talented, singing, teaching joy.

Cameron’s light and legacy shine on through Ella, his self-proclaimed ‘Mini Me’ with his comedic timing, love of cooking, easy-going kindness, and infectious smile.
