God works in mysterious ways. Two weeks ago, Cameron was at summer camp and fell during a kickball game and got a concussion. The counselors took him to the emergency room where they did a CT scan. The CT scan came back showing some abnormalities. They recommended that we follow up the very next day with his pediatrician to get a referral to get an MRI and see a neurosurgeon. Fast forward to Monday, July 10 we went to MUSC and met with the neurosurgeon. After reviewing his MRI, it was determined that he has hydrocephalus and a brain stem glioma. He will be having neurosurgery next Wednesday July 19 at the Children's Hospital at MUSC.

All of the doctors and nurses that we have met with have all explained to us what a blessing it was that he fell during this kickball game at camp. Had he not fallen and gotten a concussion we would not have known about the hydrocephalus and glioma until he was showing more symptoms and possibly very sick. For this, we are grateful. God is always good.

Thank you in advance for any and all donation. These donations will help cover some of the medical expenses and time away from work for Charlie and Kati. Please pray for Cameron, the Schroeder family and the doctors as he undergoes this surgery next Wednesday. They will be at the hospital for the remainder of the week as Cameron recovers.
