Cameron’s 3rd Cancer Battle
Donation protected
Update: Cameron’s cancer has spread to his brain. We don’t have much time left with our boy. My dad lost his job last Friday, their only car died 4 hours later and we found this news out yesterday. Cameron’s wish is to go to Walt Disney World with his family. Your donation will help us make ends meet, make his last wishes come true and of course, have a beautiful service. We are BROKEN. The 6k you so generously donated last year has been exhausted with his care and expenses to this point. There is not a way to reset an amount here, but we are starting from 6k, not 0. Any amount is helpful. We love and appreciate you all. God Bless.
Imagine having to tell your child…not once…not twice…but three times that they have cancer. That’s what my parents have had to do with my brother Cameron. The first time he was 6 weeks old and it was Retinoblastoma. The battle was long, he is blind in his left eye, but he won! 18 years later he was diagnosed with an Osteosarcoma in his right knee…weeks after graduating from High School. The battle was long and he lost his right knee and the majority of his femur, but they built him back with titanium…and again…he won! 5 weeks ago Cameron fell and broke his hip…strange for a 23 year old…pathology from the hip surgery indicated no cancer. 72 hours ago we got the call that a chest X-ray showed cancer in both of his lungs. As I right this…I’m sitting in his hospital room waiting for him to return from his bone scan to see if the cancer is anywhere else in his body. We don’t know what hellish battle awaits us just yet…but we need to prepare for battle as much as we can. Cameron is being treated at CHLA, which is 2 hours from home. Your donation will go towards medical bills, gas money, parking, lodging etc. No 24 year old should have to face medical bills like this…especially for a third time. Thank you in advance for your support.
