Camille's gymnastics Dream!

Hello everyone,
My name is Silviya Taseva and I am the personal coach and mentor of the rythmic gymnast, Camille Maldonado. My professional partner Esma Brown, myself and our team Manhattan Rhytmics in NYC, are creating this page purely and entirely for Camille' benefit and to reach her goals and dreams as professional rhythmic gymnast on a National and International level.
We would like to introduce you and tell you a little more about who Camille is and why she needs your help.
Native from Puerto Rico, Camille has been a gymnast and training professionally for over 6 years now. Her goals and dreams are acheiving a National Team title and even competing at the Olympics, one day. She has shown amazing results and improvement throughout the years of her career as a gymnast until the unthinkable happend - hurricane Maria. It nearly washed off the island and it has changed completely the course of her goals as one. Her family made the impossible to take her out of the island as soon as possible, when the situation there was unbearable, and where no electricity power, food supplies and clean drinkable water were provided to the casualties. They hardly survived. Now, Camille and her family live in the USA, where life after Hurricane Maria for a family from Puerto Rico who lost almost everything, is not an easy one at all, even though they are American citizens. They live temporarily in their good friend’s house at the moment and are trying to help and provide everything that is needed for Camille's rhythmic training and professional career not to be affected. But the source of a financial support is running out. Both of her parents have lost their jobs on the island and they hardly are restoring and pulling their life together. Due to this absolutely heartbreaking accident, Camille hasn't trained consistently, for months now. And with this, I must say, she has had the unfortunate of going through probably the most difficult time of her life - surviving and living a life after hurricane Maria!
However, Camille's family, our gymnastics team, Manhattan Rhythmics and myslef are not giving up! We are willing to give and do everything and anything possible for this absolutely amazing, beautiful and extremely talented child who truly needs your help at the moment in order to be able to continue with her career as a professional rhythmic gymnast. Our help would give her the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming competition season, starting in the very beginning of the new 2018 year. She has few mandatory competitions she must attend in order to compete for a spot in the US National Team. She must compete at a few Invitational meets, participate at NY State, Regional & Qualifiers, and then hopefully reach her main goal and dream - to compete at the US National Championships!
We thank you all from our hearts for your compassion, generosity, understanding and love for Camille!
Thank you!
