Camille and Matt's Wedding Registry: Smile Train

For our wedding, one charity we are requesting donations to is: Smile Train!

Camille was born with a cleft palate and was fortunate enough to receive her cleft palate repair at 6 months old. Unfortunately, many children around the world born with cleft lips and palates do not have access to the same level of care. In fact, one child is born every 3 minutes with a cleft lip/palate. Smile Train’s sustainable model provides training, funding, and resources to empower local doctors in 85+ countries to provide 100%-free cleft repair surgery and comprehensive cleft care in their own communities. This means that children with clefts around the world can receive the care they need without having to travel long distances or pay for expensive medical procedures.

Cleft repair surgery is simple, and the transformation is immediate. Many children with clefts around the world live in isolation, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing, hearing, and speaking. By donating to Smile Train, you are helping to change the lives of these children forever.
