Camp International - Ecuador 2025

Hi, I'm raising money for an Expedition with Camp International in Ecuador in July 2025.

What I will be doing on this expedition:

Community Development

Throughout the expedition I will be working on a range of projects, each aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and designed to make a significant and lasting impact on the region’s most critical issues. These projects include constructing neighbourhood recreational areas and improving infrastructure of the local schools. I will also be help in tackling the issue of waste in the natural environment by participating in beach clean ups and working on rubbish management projects.

Amazon Rainforest Regeneration

As communities develop in the Amazon, deforestation of this important rainforest is inceasing at an alarming rate. I will be working alongside local people to help understand the complex relationship between the environment and the community development and will assist with important environmental projects like collecting saplings and replanting trees in the jungle.

To help raise funds I will be hiking up Snowdon this summer, peak 1085m
