Campaign for Sean's Cremation
Donation protected
This campaign is to raise funds for the cremation of Sean Burkett.
************
If you asked Sean to describe himself, he'd commonly say that he was a mean a**hole. However, those who were close to Sean knew differently. He was someone who would willingly help a person in need, and he'd do it in a moment's notice and without asking for anything in return. He was a man who always tried to stay active and loved doing creative things, whether it was painting ceramics, trying his hand at making some new, delicious food in the kitchen, or building a play tower for his beloved cats. He was a man that wanted to help, but he never wanted others to "make a fuss over him", and he cherished his ability to be independent.
Sean was a man with a big heart, but he didn't always have it easy. In 2016, he was diagnosed with endstage liver disease, and for years, he fought his illness as bravely as he could. He tried his hardest to keep a brave face, and many were inspired by how he kept his head up, even when the odds weren't in his favor.
Sadly, at 9:52p on March, 31, 2019, Sean lost the battle with his illness. Funds raised by this campaign will go directly to the funeral home's cost for cremation.
