Cam-purr 2.0

At the end of May, our original AC unit breathed its last, and during the process of getting it replaced we found out that with the age of the camper, in order to replace the AC the entire roof would also need to be replaced. Between the new AC cost and the quote for the roof, replacement and repairs would total over $14,000 

This, coupled with some minor problems we have discovered over the course of a year and a half in business with our current camper has lead us to the realization that it may be better to give Botany Cats a fresh start with a new (to us) trailer, with an updated floor plan. In the meantime, we’ve come up with some creative solutions to keep the camper up and running to keep helping kitties get off the street, and start saving up for the new update, as well as we will be applying for grants to help cover the cost of the new trailer.

We’re not expecting the community to cover the full cost of the camper, but wanted to let our fur-riends know what has been going on, and if anyone feels inclined, anything helps. Botany Cats is poised to turn this streak of bad luck into an even better o-purr-tunity to create an incredible kitty paradise on wheels. Stay tuned!
