Help us Repair the Driveway and Replace the Office

Hello, my name is Angela Meglio and I am the Lead Dog Trainer here at Camp Wagalot.

Working here at Camp has been a dream come true for me. Each day I look forward to coming in to work to teach pet parents how to build a better bond with their dog through force-free training and behavioral consulting. None of this would be possible if it weren't for Jenn believing in me and adding me to the team.

Jenn began her mission 13 years ago working with reactive dogs in the shelter. From then on she dedicated her life to helping dogs stay with their families and out of rescue. Her belief is that every dog has 4 critical needs to maintain balance and happiness; Socialization, Training, Exercise and Nutrition.

Jenn and I live for dogs and we want to continue providing excellent service for our clients. In the coming years, we want to be able to touch as many canine lives as possible.

Despite the pandemic, Jenn and the team here at Camp remained resilient to provide a safe place for owners to bring their dogs during such a challenging time. As a small business, facing inflation and the rising cost of utilities has been a great challenge for us.

We want to give our clients the best experience possible and do not want to compromise on quality. We are not a cookie cutter, dog park-style facility. Camp provides individualized care so every dog that attends gets the attention, patience and care it deserves. It's not about the number of dogs- it is about providing the best service. We truly believe in quality over quantity.

With that being said, we are seeking donations to help raise funds to build a new office and fix the driveway.

Maintaining the driveway to Camp is a huge expense over the year-round. The wear and tear of 70+ cars each day plus the extreme weather shifts has made it an almost impossible task to fix the driveway without help. Jenn has researched the cost of having the driveway paved and was quoted over $100k. We understand the difficulty of maneuvering up the driveway and want to make sure our clients can make it up here safely.

The Office has held up over the years but is in desperate need of repair. At this point, constructing something new would be more cost efficient.
