Cams 4x4x48 for first responder mental health
Tax deductible
My name is Cameron Halliday and on March 4-5th I will be running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours straight. My mission is to bring awareness to the thousands of first responders who suffer from PTSD and other forms of mental disorders that are brought on by their brave and demanding jobs.
Last year more first responders died by there own hand than in the line of duty. Through the Code Green Campaign we can help these men and women in need. Any donation is greatly appreciated and I look forward to pushing myself in honor of these courageous citizens who play such a vital role in our communities.
Thank you
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit The Code Green Campaign, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about The Code Green Campaign: The campaign has two main goals. Our primary goal is raising awareness of the high rates of mental health issues, substance abuse and suicide among first responders. Our secondary goal is providing education for responders on how to provide care for themselves and recognize issues in their peers.
We also run a storytelling project, maintain a resource database and distribute resource information, and help track suicides along with several other programs.
