Can You Help Me Feed My Strays

Hi My name is Catherine and I spend the greater part of my time in India where I started feeding the strays in my neighborhood about 10 years ago. Initially there were just a few dogs - 4 or 5, but of course when the others came to know there was free food daily the group got bigger and bigger. I use a high frequency dog whisle to call them and they wait for me pretty much everyday at the same time. I give them kibble, biscuits and sometimes milk. It costs more than $300 to feed them every month and as I am a pensioner the cost is now burdensome. I love that they roam free every day, play and keep each other company. Its a tough life as a street dog in India, but they are happy to receive some level of care and I am happy to give but your help would normalize my life as I tend to spend more than I can afford on them. If you love dogs I am sure you will find it in your heart to give. This picture is only some of the dogs I feed. When I travel back to Canada every few years I pay 2 locals to feed them while I am gone, so I am fully committed and like the postman never miss a day
