Can you help the Goulds?

Our names are Elle, Kath and Amanda, we are the Directors at Liberty Disability Services, and on Friday, 25th of November, the world unexpectedly lost an amazing human. Graeme Gould. We have started this GoFund Me to help out a very special family close to our hearts that have suffered a horrible loss.

Graeme was one of the most genuine, honest humans who loved and lived for being a father to his two beautiful boys, Ash, 21 and Casey, 13. Graeme was a shining light in a world that can be pretty dark - he faced a lot of difficult times across his life but was more determined than ever to love his kids, raise them right and see them have a future he never did.

Ash embodies all the amazing qualities his father had and has stepped up to the plate to care for Casey. Ash is attending Uni full time, unable to work, and will now be his little brother's guardian and full-time carer.

Casey is a loved member of the Geelong Disability community and attends a local specialist school where he loves his friends, teachers, and daily learning. Casey warms the hearts of everyone he meets with his beautiful smile and cheeky laugh.

Graeme, who was taken so suddenly, had not yet made arrangements for such things as funerals or final expenses. The boys, in their grief, are now faced with finding the money to give their Dad the dignified send-off he deserves on top of navigating losing the most significant part of their life - their safe person, their hero, their pretty damn amazing Dad, Graeme Gould.

As an organisation, we will rally around and support the boys to be everything they can be and more - just like Graeme would have wanted. However, it will take a village to help these kids find their feet without the man who was the most significant part of their lives.

We ask that, if you can, please donate to help to ease the financial strain of the funeral expenses for these super special kids. All funds raised will be used to support Ash & Casey to pay for these expenses and ease the stress and anxiety, paving the way for them to start to heal.
