Saskatchewan Mainstream Media Coverage for Iran

Donation protected
Some students of Saskatchewan are coming together for this urgent humanitarian initiative to raise funds for the costs of mainstream media coverage in Saskatchewan around media headquarters and public spaces (e.g. billboards, posters, flyers, etc.), merchandise for the campus students, events, demonstrations, and any other items that can help bring more visibility in Saskatchewan.

Not affiliated but inspired by the US fundraiser ‘Urgent Call For Mainstream Media #Womanlifefreedom’. The below description is copied from their fundraiser for the lack of a better explanation of the current situation in Iran:

Led by women, the people of Iran are risking their lives day after day to fight for their fundamental human rights.

The Iranian government has shut down the internet, blocked social media platforms, and drastically limited cell phone connectivity. This has massively suffocated the global awareness of the women-led protests and the Islamic Republic's violent repression.

We seek to create global visibility and accelerate mainstream media coverage.

Every last donation will be used to purchase advertising materials in high-visibility locations in Saskatchewan , Canada. This will help us to rev up the momentum related to the women-led protests in Iran.

Receipts will be provided for transparency. TO FREEDOM
