Canada Sews - Masks for Front Liners
Donation protected
With over 8000 volunteers in 9 provinces across Canada, and over 160,000 items delivered, our team is the largest in Canada.
Founded as a response to the shortage of Personal Protective Equipment needed to fight COVID-19, we are a non-profit movement of volunteers across Canada providing fabric masks and scrub caps to front line workers in need, such as cancer centres, nursing homes, police, couriers, AIDS clinics, truck drivers, hospitals, etc. We are the only Canadian team collaborating with Created for Crisis, an international design and research team in discussion with the CDC. This allows us to recommend CFC developed patterns to all of our sewers.
While our volunteers have done incredible things with the resources available, they are running out of fabric to complete this herculean task. Your donation will, in part, go towards purchasing the materials needed to help protect our front line workers. Without your generosity, our sewers will not have what they need to continue.
Moreover, unfortunately, as things have grown, so has our need for a more expansive and efficient system. Your donation will, in part, help pay for the services needed to continue receiving and responding to orders.
Please, give generously and let's show COVID-19 who's boss!
