Canadians for Australian Bushfire Appeal
15 years ago I packed my bags, left Australia and headed across the world for a 9 month trip. My first stop was in Canada and I instantly fell in love with the country and the people. Now I am proud to call both Canada and Australia home.
As an Australian living in Canada I wanted to find a way to help those back home enduring the devastating fires. I was home over the holidays and even being a fair distance from the fires I still saw the way it is impacting the country, family and friends.
It can feel helpless living on the other side of the world not knowing how to help. Canadians and Australians have an incredible connection as many Aussies have spent time in Canada and vice versa. I would love to see my adopted country supporting my home country in it's time of need
NOTE: Due to the charity based in Australia donations made from Canada are not tax deductible
